The Hunters and Friends on Rainier

Follow Scott and I as we climb Mt. Rainier via the Emmons Glacier.  My favorite climber and dear friend Carl will lead us out.  Rounding out our party is the wonderful Tina!  Our time schedule is:
  • Sun Aug 2
    • depart White River campground (4,280 ft.) ~9:30am
    • camp at Camp Schurman (9,450 ft.) ~4:00pm
  • Mon Aug 3
    • begin ascent ~1:00am
    • summit (14,411 ft.) ~9:00am
    • descend to Camp Schurman for the night
  • Tue Aug 4
    • break camp
    • descend from Camp Schurman to White River campground
    • drive home
This is going to be awesome!!

    Very much looking forward to climbing with this group...almost as much as I'm looking forward to the pre-climb breakfast being served at 6am by the lovely Leslie Hunter.

    Wow, sounds exciting and fun. I thought you were going with RMI but this would be even more adventurous.

    Carl, your dad sent me your link and when I logged onto it this morning, there you were, climbing up Mt. Ranier. This is kinda cool to see where you are in your climb. I'll check back later.
